In Denver there are many bungalow style homes. What they lack in space they certainly make up in charm. People love bungalow style homes, including myself, however they typically require some updating to fit modern tastes and lifestyle. The dilemma in performing a renovation on these old homes is how to update them without having completely losing their character.
One way to do that is by updating the space inside and leaving the exterior styling and footprint the same. We highly suggest expanding parts of your home such as the kitchen, by using an open concept design. (Please see our earlier article for more information on kitchen remodels with an open concept.) By looking at your layout and determining an efficient design, we can increase the livability of your home.
