The goal for S. Lincoln Way Centennial remodel was to update this dated home with a contemporary farmhouse style and modern amenities. We started on the main floor by installing recessed lights and new flooring throughout the living space and kitchen. In the kitchen, we introduced modern appliances, beer taps, marble countertops and a matching, full wall tile backsplash. We framed the hood vent with reclaimed wood and added a distressed finish to the black lower cabinets, bringing the farmhouse style to life. We also added floor-to-ceiling built-ins, matching the upper cabinets, at one end of the kitchen for extra storage. The main floor bathroom in this Centennial remodel was also renovated with matching marble countertops, farmhouse cabinets, and subway tiles. In the basement, we added new flooring throughout and a wet bar in the living area for entertaining. Finally, we added a guest bedroom featuring a built in desk/makeup area and an attached bath matching the bath on the main floor.
